Apple stretching things out ?

Is today the day Apple decide to stretch things out a little ?
The 12th of September has finally came and rumors of the highly anticipated iPhone 5 is at an all time high - pictures such as the one below have been scouring the web for many months now and many more
Is today the day Apple finally release the highly wanted 4 inch retina display? we will find out at 10 am PST - 6pm GMT
However the iPhone 5 is NOT the only rumored offering from Apple's event today, there has also been word of a possible new iPod range including a 4 inch iPod touch, which will feature Apple's new A5X Chip, a new iPod Nano to include Wi-fi, maybe apple are thinking of Passbook on a Nano scale ?
Other rumors speak of a new 13 inch Macbook Pro with Retina display - this is a likely product but to be released today is unsure - would Apple really surround an anticipated release with another product ? they have before ... but is this what we'll see with Tim Cook at the helm ?
All I can say is be there to see the event - it's one not to miss !

Siri On the Move, Nano Style ?

Apple's iPod Nano Featuring a rumored New case and Siri Features
Apple’s been rumored to be working on wearable iPod Nano watchbands with Siri control as reported by The New York Times. Siri has become the talk of the town and having this feature on the iPod Nano watchbands would be an interesting way to keep track of time and things around! Apple has already encouraged us to wear its products on our wrists by selling Nanos with watch faces but now it is aiming to go beyond.

Inside Sources have said that a small group of Apple employees are conceptualizing and working on the wearable devices prototypes. The wearable device idea is of a curved glass iPod which would wrap around a wrist and people would be able to communicate with it via Siri.

Apple's Latest Creations ? iPhone 5 ? iPad 3 ?

iPhone5

So there has been lots of specualtion in recent months of a iPhone 5 - in fact this has been ever since the release of the iPhone 4S

So is there going to be an iPhone 5? when will it be released? what will it look like? These are only a few of the questions that are hoping to get answered soon

There is most probably going to be a new edition to the iPhone range, when is a matter of guesstimation, and reports seem to sway towards early to mid 2012, with the possibillity of a dual release with yet another specualted iPad 3 being brought to Apple's arsenal.

Reports also seem to sway towards a changed design for the latest generation of iPhone, this desing is to follow suit with the iPod 4 released by Apple in early 2011 at their WWDC event, this is the speculated time that both iPad 3 and iPhone 5 will be relaeased by Tim Cook (Apple CEO) in WWDC of 2012. the fact of this being true is yet to be proved and as we all know, Apple dont tend to let things slide... apart from the one slip up with the iPhone 4... but we wont go into that

It is most definatelty probable that the new iDevices will feature Apples latest version of iOS 5.X but following the trend from recent years, will these new devices contain a chip named A6 ? Or will Apple bite the bullet and release these devices with the A5 chip released alng with the iPhone 4S, this is yet to be seen....

In my opinion, and agree with me if you do, i prefer the desing of the latest iPhones, and wouldnt want them to change, but if it works when Apple releases it, then I most probably will grow to the new desing (If there is one that is)

We can only wait and see, NEW updates can be found on the site, when they surface, look forward to your comments and opinions.

Facebook's New Creation, A Thing Of The Past? Say Hello to Timeline

FbNewLayoutimg

So Facebook have recently released a brand new layout for their profile pages Timeline This new layout is inteneded to bring the users pictures, feeds and recent activities all together in a nice new package for friends and family to all see in an easy to read layout. But the question is have they achieved this?

Well to be honest the new layout does seem to do what's intended, it looks crisp and flows well, however the criticism is that the feeds below, all seem rather jumbled, and have no real chronologicallity, and in my opinion they may need to relook at the whole layout of that area below one of the new features which io like the most, which Facebook call your profile cover, this is a space (Not for banner ads) that allows you to upload anything you wish to this area in image form, I am yet to try out an Animated GIF object int his space but it is in the works (Trust me im doing it as i type this post) but in obvious reality, the image you upload must agree to Facebook's terms of use policy etc,etc,etc... but in no way are these images put up for approval... so i can only gather that these images are moderated in the future, or never at all...

So all-in-all, i give this new layout a 7 Out of 10, which for Facebook and it's new creations, isnt a bad score, they just have to relook at some small things to make it step up the social ladder.

Let me know what you think of the new site layout, if you;ll be getting or sticking with it, and would you stay with Facebook itslef if it was forced upon you in the near future? all we can do is wait on the official release of this layout and see what they do with the implemetation of the layout, onyl time will tell what comes of this new layout

Google Music ? Google's attempt at the big Apple

So Google have came out of the woodwork in recent times, slowly but surely taking a pick at the tech industry, first the Android (To tackle to dominant iPhone) then came the birth of Google + which was designed to impact on the social media giants Facebook and Twitter

Now in their latest installment, Google set their eyes on their biggest feat to date, the popular music industry which has a split dominance between both Amazon and Apple, however the question is, is there room for a third musketeer? and if so can the three co-exist in this highly busy industry? Rumours say that Google have in fact made deals with 3 of the 4 main records label, but however reports say that Warner Group have not 'wanted to play ball' with Google and their latest endeavour.

Google are said to be integrating this new service with their new social network Google + to allow users to share their music with friends, which also allows a "Full free play" of your friends music which according to Jamie Rosenberg Google's Director for digital content "You cant do this with any other music store".

So is this Google being better than the competition ? Bringing out a product that allows you do do things you cant with "any other music store"? Or is this in fact Google playing catch up with their rival couterparts Apple, Amazon and Facebook Only time will tell...
